It’s not too late to enjoy the exceptional work of Cowra artist Ann Morton whose paintings are on show at the Burrangong Gallery, Young for a few more days.
Christmas in Harden
If you missed the Christmas Wonderland in Harden last week there is still time to enjoy the spectacle and take part in this festive treat. It’s at Norm and Joan Porter’s home of the corner of East and Scott Streets. They are keen to share their beautifully decorated Christmas Wonderland. This attraction is open from 5pm to 9pm this Saturday and Sunday.
Christmas Tree Displays
There’s plenty of creative flair demonstrated in the two Young church Christmas Tree displays this year. Enjoy Young’s Uniting Church Christmas Tree Display, now in its 10th year and the St John’s Anglican Church as well.
Book Launch
Wombat residents Margaret and Meg Bailes will launch their new illustrated children’s book at Young Library from 10.30 to11.30 on Saturday, December 15. Megan has created beautiful illustrations for the work, which is taken from a poem her mother, Margaret wrote years ago. All welcome.
December 15 – New Art Exhibition welcomed at Burrangong Gallery, Young Visitor Information Centre, with works by members only.
December 23 – Carols by Candlelight, Carrington Park Young. From 6pm games, 7.30pm presentation, 8pm carols commence. All welcome.
