HISTORY is believed to have been made when an inaugural charity campdraft was held at Port Stephens on December 14. The event was held to raise funds for the Kids Cancer Project. All up $6500 was raised. A great day was had by all. Cattle were kindly donated by Port Stephens mayor Bruce MacKenzie and his son, Robert. Other sponsors included Horseland, Norco, Rural Traders, Browns Butchery and Hellfire Paintball. First place maiden draft was won by Steve Hufnagl on Spin N Trouble. First place novice draft winner was Scott Edwards on Reflect and first place open draft winner was Warren Richards on Boon.
