Frogmore's Billy Fogg isn't a typical teenager.
Billy's days after school and on weekends often involve jumping on the back of a mini bull as he sets his sights on a professional rodeo career.
Billy's been rodeo riding since he was seven years of age.
In June Billy, of Frogmore near Boorowa, takes another step on the path to what he hopes will be a career in rodeo when he rides with the Australian team at the National Junior High School Rodeo titles in Des Moines, Iowa.
The tiles, to be held from June 23 to June 29, are one of the largest rodeos in the world.
Billy's mum Katie explained her son "rodeos most weekend's throughout NSW".
He qualified for the Australian team after competing in a three day event in Bendemeer in January.
"Over the three days he had to compete and finish in the top four to compete in America," Katie said.
Billy booked his place on the team after finishing in third place.
"He's been riding since he was seven, they start out on poddy calves and steers before riding mini bulls."

While obviously not as big as a mature bull the mini bulls still pack a punch weighing in at 500 kilograms.
"They're still very fierce," Katie said.
Billy's most recent competition was at the National Finals in Tamworth.
It was no easy path to the Australian titles with Billy riding throughout the past 12 months to qualify by finishing in the top 15 of a national pointscore competition.
"He's pretty keen to have a bull riding career," Katie said.
"His cousin was bull riding and we started to go to a few rodeos, he started getting on a few poddy calves and it went from there."
Billy's 20-year-old brother Darcy also rides.
"He's got three mini bulls of his own and he's often bucking those out at our arena at home," Katie said of Billy.
"And he's got a mate with an arena too, they often have practice days after school.
"Billy would like to think that's where he will end up. He follows a lot of the bull riders.
"I'm originally from Tumut and there are bull riders from Tumut riding in America on scholarships.
"That's where he'd like to head if he can get a scholarship," Katie said.
