Project infrastructure for the wind farm, located approximately 11km north-east of Yass, includes the upgrade/maintenance of approximately 50km of public roads, access track and hardstand network, 66 wind turbines and electrical substations.
According to Tilt Renewables, construction contractor Zenviron continues to mobilise staff and equipment resources to the regionfor construction, including public road upgrades.
"This last week, the team continued pre-construction minor works including the commencement of access to the onsite temporary compound facilities," Tilt Renewables said.
"While the region has been inundated with heavy rainfall, rendering parts of the site inaccessible, the team will carry on with pre-construction minor works, including establishment of environmental and heritage no-go zones, minor clearing, construction of the main access track to the temporary site facilities and establishment of the temporary site facilities."
Road upgrade works commenced this week along the southern end of Rye Park Dalton Road and intersection upgrade works at the three site entries.
"With this in mind, we would like to highlight the possibility of minor delays expected along these routes," Tilt Renewables said.
