The junior cricket season got under way last weekend, with the ARMA Insurance Brokers side going down in a hard fought contest against Ranbuild Young and Yass at Boorowa Sports Ground on Saturday.

Ranbuild got the ball rolling when they were sent out to bat first, with openers Harry Houston and Chance Norton combining for 22 runs.
Ranbuild's Liam Shannon and Alby Woodward also managed to make double digits with 12 and 15 respectively before Fergus Houston top scored for his side with 32 runs.
Ranbuild finished their innings on 4/183, a tough total for ARMA to chase.
ARMA's batting line up started off strong, with Josh Gorham scoring 10, including two fours.
Fraser Briad got two runs while Finn Corkhill was sadly dismissed for a duck.
It was tough going for the remainder of the line up, with Octavian Miller (2), Will Cross (1), Claire Corkhill (4), Ivy Corkhill (4) and Jack Scott (3) all out for single digits before Edward McGuiness came home strongly with 11.
The side finished all out for 90.
In the other match, Kay McDonald Trophies 5/104 defeated LJ Hooker, all out for 85.
