This perpetual trophy is a major event on our calendar and has been played for nearly 30 years and was donated by Hector and Jean Dwyer.
The ladies also played for two other trophies on the day.
The Marie Martin Memorial Trophy (for putting) was won by Leeanne Farrell with a masterful display of the short game.
Three players, Del Greig, Jo Mackay and Jenny Twarloh, tied for runner up for the putting trophy, with Del Greig successful on a countback.
It was a great day for Leeanne, who also took out the Bindi Cup over 18 holes.
Congratulations to Jenny Twarloh who won the main event, the Canemumbola Cup, over 27 holes.
Jenny kept her nerve and maintained a high standard of golf throughout this endurance event.
It was great to have Bev Goode and Patty Boulding join us on the day to present the Canemumbola Cup on behalf of their parents Hector and Jean and also present the putting trophy in memory of their late sister, Marie Martin who was a long standing member of the BLGC.
Thanks to Sharon Webster for setting up the afternoon tea and Kate Crisp for doing the cards.
