Jody Liddle, 20, ran down 17 council signs on Brial Road, Rugby Road and Frogmore Road, driving a black Mitsubishi dual cab some time during the early hours of October 18, 2020.
A number of roadside mailboxes were also run over, however no landholders proceeded legal action.
Liddle had consumed alcohol for several hours before driving with two male passengers in the vehicle.
The black Mitsubishi was abandoned in Gunnary Creek near the intersection of Rugby Road and Frogmore Road.
Police in the afternoon attended the crash scene and observed the path of destroyed council signs along Brial Road.
Investigations led police to Liddle's residence where she admitted to slamming into the road signs after consuming a number of drinks at different pubs in Boorowa.
At court, Liddle, who pleaded guilty to all charges, was convicted of driving under the influence, drive recklessly and intentionally destroy property.
The court ordered she pay $28,268 in compensation to Hilltops Council.
"It's a fairly serious matter, driving at random road signs and knocking them down," Magistrate Mijovich said.
Her solicitor told the court she "let herself be led astray".
Liddle was also convicted after pleading guilty to high-range drink driving. She crashed her car near Rye Park about 9pm on January 10 this year.
The court heard her license wasn't suspended in October, 2020 however it has been suspended since the high-range offence.
Police were patrolling the area when they came across the crash.
Liddle was tested for alcohol and registered a high-range reading .163.
Her representative said Liddle has been avoiding the pubs in Boorowa and these offences have been a "big wake up call" to her drinking.
"You need to step back and have a look at your use of alcohol. You may well be a person who can't afford to have one drink," Magistrate Mijovich said.
On top of the compensation, Liddle was disqualified from driving for 18 months, fined a total of $2750 and ordered to enter the mandatory interlock program after the disqualification period.
