This is the first fundraising event for Boorowa Hospital this year and the Auxiliary wish to acknowledge the great job done by club manager Garrett and all the staff.
A special thank you to chef Aaron for the delicious meal provided in such a professional manner and enjoyed by everyone.
The Boorowa Central School hospitality students helped to prepare and serve the meals, which was part of their practical experience, and they certainly did this with style.
Congratulations to all the hospitality students and their teacher Chris Hawkins,
Some light entertainment was provided by President Jenny Carter with prizes for different categories with unknown judges.
Best dressed lady was won by Janette Jobson, who is Lyn Thomas's daughter from Canberra.
Best hat was won by Yvonne Murphy.
The person who walked to the club was Felicity Corcoran.
The person who had a birthday on the day was Glenys Dymock.
The person who had travelled the longest distance in the Boorowa district was Shirley Meers from Monteagle.
Judy Ford was the lucky winner of the raffle and the Lucky Door prize was won by Maureen Beer.
Chris Carter, Jerry Jowitt, Margaret Jowitt and Chris Hall were in charge of the sweeps so a special thank you to them for their work.
The Auxiliary are always looking for new members to come along and join in with our fundraising to help the Boorowa Hospital.
We have meetings every second Thursday of the month followed by afternoon tea.
Ring Jenny Carter on 6385 1134 or 0427 629 071 or Glenys Dymock on 6385 1857 or 0428 402 050 for all the details.
