"It was very fortunate that the annual 2020 Boorowa Show was held this year, with timing of the event coming after rain but before COVID-19 turned the world askew and we headed into the March lockdown," the committee said.
"While there are now many positives to life during a pandemic in regional communities like ours, large events prove very difficult to stage safely."
The delayed AGM will discuss next year's Boorowa Show, normally held on the first weekend of March.
The AGM is scheduled for 30 November, 7.30pm in the Top Pub Cafe.
"All interested people are very welcome to attend this meeting and certainly one agenda item will be the prospects of actually holding a show early next year will be discussed," the committee said.
Meanwhile, some individual competitions will go ahead and one that is coming up is the Boorowa Wheat Competition held as part of the ASC /Suncorp Dryland Wheat Comp.
Results of the local comp will be delivered, and the winner then is judged in the regional zone.
"We are excited to hold this competition in 2020 after such critically dry times last season," the committee said.
"A report will be forthcoming with the results of the wheat judging, and an update as to the prospects of a show being held next year."
