Boorowa district woolgrowers have been donating fleeces to a charity bale as part of the Flock Ewe competition since 2014.
Fleeces accumulated over the past three years were sold as bales in the 2018 wool season through Landmark Boorowa.
The Boorowa Show Society voted to share the proceeds of $5,098.08 from the sale between Boorowa Early Education Centre and Burrowa House residential facility.
These two organisations provide care and support for the community and many community members benefit as a result.
The Early Learning Centre is purchasing a large hen house and several garden beds to allow children to engage in more outdoor activities.
Burrowa House will purchase a large-screen TV with Wi-Fi surround sound to enable multi room listening as well as staff education sessions.
