A 36-year-old man from Coalcliff has been charged with two counts of assault and wielding a knife a public place.

Police say he was drinking at a licensed premises in Boorowa about 4pm on Saturday, October 5 when he allegedly became involved in an altercation with other patrons.
The man was asked to leave and he did.
The other patrons followed the man and it is alleged he produced a knife and ran at them.
The patrons ran away without suffering injury.
Police will allege the man returned to the licensed premises several hours later and saw a patron he earlier threatened, approached him and punched him to the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
Police were contacted and attended.
Police located the man in the rear yard of a house.
He was arrested, taken to Young Police Station and charged with the offences of common assault and wield knife in a public place.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Young Local Court on November 5.
