The win erases the bitter taste of defeat after the 2018 grand final loss against the Green Devils.
North Canberra has been the benchmark all season and, in the end, may just have had a little more petrol in the tank than Crookwell, who have had to play sudden death football for the past month just to make the grand final.
Meantime in the league tag Harden proved too strong for Crookwell by 34-6 making it a tough day for the Devils. Harden were undefeated all season and thoroughly deserved the title.
Meanwhile on the local scene, Boorowa will host their annual presentation dinner this coming Saturday night at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club.
All are welcome to celebrate the achievements of the Rovers and Roverettes who, whilst not winning any silverware, had a reasonably successful year.
The festivities begin around 6.00 for 6.30 at a cost of $40 for adults and $20 for under 16's.
The cost includes finger foods and entertainment after the presentations.
This is always a great night and of course the big screen TV will provide full coverage of the NRL semi-final between Parramatta and Melbourne.
So, dust off your dancing shoes and come celebrate with the league teams as we say goodbye to the 2019 season.
