The Wyangala to Canberra service will operate via a weekly day return bus or coach service with stops at Cowra, Murringo and Boorowa.
Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said the new routes would provide new connections for regional communities.
"The new services will improve transport access for many remote communities without public transport and for regions with existing services, it will provide faster and more direct connections that will help boost local economies," he said.
"In some of these communities, it will be a real game changer for people in terms of how they get around and their ability to access health services and education opportunities.
"It will also make it easier for tourists to visit our regions and move around in the bush."
Mr Toole said community consultation was an important part of the trial services.
"NSW TrainLink staff will be heading out to more local communities across the State in the coming weeks to give customers the chance to have their say on how the new services would work best for them," he said.
"We want to hear from locals as to which timetable they prefer for the trial services along with feedback on what transport options best suit their needs.
"It's important we get to hear from the people who are going to use these services and get their feedback on how they would like to connect with neighbouring communities."
NSW TrainLink staff will be holding information stalls on the Wyangala to Canberra route where the community can have their say from Monday, September 23
The weekly services will initially be provided on a trial basis. To find out more about how to have your say, visit www.transportnsw.info/regional
