Plans for the festival are well underway, with stallholder applications already almost finalised.

New centre
You are invited to inspect the Harden Murrumburrah Visitor Information Centre which was officially opened on Friday.
If you are local, travelling to the twin towns, or passing through to another destination, take the opportunity to call in and check out the new premises, and meet tourist officer Maree Lamb and the local volunteers.
Festival fundraiser
With five cherry queen/king entrants in the 70th National Cherry Festival Queen/King competition, there are fundraising plans aplenty this year.
CanAssist entrant Laura Ower has a Bogan Trivia Night to be held at Young Golf Club on September 7. There will be games, prizes, raffles and an auction. Tables of 10 at $25 per head. Tickets available at Ray White and South West Tractors.
Diabetes Week Event
Have all your questions about diabetes answered at the National Diabetes Week event at Young Town Hall on Saturday July 27 from 11am to 3pm.
Risk assessments, management support, expert advice and community vendor information are offered. The Lions Club of Young and Murrumbidgee Local Health District are presenting the expo.
Retreat Day Fundraiser
2019 Cherry Queen entrant, Tasman Coulter, has A Ladies Retreat Day on August 25 offering fun and relaxation in the "outback".

The event will raise money for Margaret House and the National Cherry Festival. The day will be run by local yoga teacher Danette Watson. More details from Kerrie on 0418 283 231.
