Mrs Potts purchased the business from her brother-in-law Reg Potts in 1988.
"I've enjoyed it, the people are lovely," she said.
"Special thanks to them for being like family for the past 31 years."
Mrs Potts also wanted to thank her colleague, Lola Malone.
"She's been with me for 19 years as my offsider," she said.
"She's kept the show on the road... they all love her."
Tracey will still be working in the salon on Friday but the business will now be owned by Rachael.
"She was born and bred in Boorowa and returned here with her husband Ryan and two sons," Tracey sais.
"She'll be here for the long haul."
The salon will be closed for the two weeks in July for refurbishments and reopening on July 12.
"Come in and say hello," Tracey said.
