Mr Dromgold's first book, "The Frogmore Farmer" was released last year but will be launched on April 28 from 12pm to 3pm at Frogmore Hall.
The book details Mr Dromgold's first memories, marriage, children, various careers including his time as a policeman, a fireman then a builder and onto grandchildren retirement and finally publication.
Mr Dromgold's niece, Cheryl Coble said it is a gritty story of a boy and his family, through to manhood, marriage and beyond.
"The story itself was wonderfully written from the heart and honest," he said.
"This is about a man who is strong, has a great moral compass and has deep love for his family and has he instilled these qualities in his own children.
"He started the book when he was about 60 just jotting down memories in an exercise book and it grew from there."
