A special mention in our opening review of matches this week to the Mad Ramz, getting their first win.
They hosted the Courthouse and got home by 5/2 with hundreds to Ray Poplin 125, Dave Jensen 105 and Craig Hearn 125 and a special mention to Pep Croker with a high of 138.
The Top Pub Shenanigans hosted the Top Pub Shamrocks with the Shamrocks getting home in a close encounter 4/3 with tons by Mike Ward and well done to Neil Turner for a nice 52 peg out.
The Rec Gold hosted the Top Pub Leprechauns and in a boil over result, the Leprechauns got home with luck, grit and persistence winning overall by 6/1.
Rec Gold had great scores with hundreds to Rick Bennett 140,100 and a lovely 76 pegout bullseye finishing one game.
Hundreds also to Shane Picker (100 x 2), and the unlucky Mick Farrell 123,100.
Only the wires were deciding his darts.
Special mention to David Apps 120, 100 and a good 52 peg in three darts, and two hundreds to Pat Beadman 100 and 120.
Top Pub Whisky Business hosted the Rec Blue with the Rec Blue being far too good in a 5/2 result. Hundreds by Russell George 140, (2 x 100), Steve Makings 125 and Colin Death 100.
Again good contributions from the Whisky's Stace Brown (2 x 100) and Pete Bell 145.
The Ex Services 26's hosted the Top Pub Guinness, with the Guinness too good for the 26's by 6/1.
Guinness's Dennis Watson (2x 100) and hundreds from Lester Murphy 100 and Darrell Hanns 100.
Special mention to the 26's Chris Dwyer with another couple of hundreds 101,100.
The usual fun night was had by all.
The undefeated Ramz hosted the Ex Services RSL and in a close match with the Ram staying in command with a 4/3 winning margin.
Mentions to Josh Carmody for 7 hundred scores or more on the night and the RSL’s Adrian March with two hundreds 128, 100.
Robyn Armour took a leg off Les Fitzgerald in the singles which was a great effort by Robin against “Lethal” Les.
In the final match of the round, The Top Pub FitzRyans hosted the Top Pub Jameson’s with the RMS boys winning 5/2.
Hundred scores to Tony Harvey, 153,121,100 and a great 86 peg to Jade Rangi, with special mention to the Jameson’s Josh Grey with a individual high 58 pegout.

Some players have already locked in their partners as early entries have been supplied by some team captains.
