Rec Blue won 6/1 over Top Pub Guinness in a clash of the big guns.
Rec Blue were far too good on the night with outstanding darts from Rod Neeson throwing eight hundred or over scores.
He was well supported by the team members, with Steve, Russell and Colin who shot a couple of hundred plus scores each.
The Guinness were competitive with Dennis Watson throwing four hundred plus scores and well supported by Lester, Richard and Phil who contributed a couple of their own tons on the night.
Ramz won 5/2 over Top Pub FitzRyans
Congratulations to Les (Lethal) Fitzgerald for a great 171.
Of note was a hundred to the FitzRyan’s Jade who is consistent each week.
Top Pub Shamrocks won a thriller 4/3 over Mad Ramz.
This was a close match and very competitive and again Deb Cotter with a 115 and Darrell Hanns a 101 starred.
Excellent darts by Anna Armstrong with two hundreds on the night including a 123 and an even ton.
The Mad Ramz Dave played well shooting a 100.
Top Pub Whisky Business won 4/3 over Top Pub Shenanigans
A great night was had by all with the decibels of laughter ringing through the Top Pub.
It was a close match with Sam Collier hitting a 100, Pete Bell hit a 140 and again the Shenanigans Tenille, got another hundred with a 103.
Rec Gold won 5/2 over Ex Service RSL.
A close match considering the RSL played with only three players on the night.
Hundreds were thrown by Peter Farrell 105, Andrew McGrath 100, Mick Farrell 138, Robert Dunwoodie a 138 and a 121 to RSL gun Darrell Armour.
Top Pub Jameson’s won 5/2 over RSL 26's
Jameson’s are finding form with a nice nice 111 to Bob Clayton.
A special mention must go to Jade Blomfield on her first competition night and match.
Jade shot a 100 with a bullseye and pegged on 19 to help win her doubles game with Julie.
Clearly there is some serious practice is happening in the Blomfield garage.
In the final match of the round the Top Pub Leprechauns won 7/0 over Courthouse who due to other commitments had to forfeit.
In other news, the first Annual Mixed Doubles Championships is to be held shortly.
This will be at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club on June 12 with a 7.30pm start.
These Championships are only open to current 2018 Boorowa Darts Players, so if you have not played a game, you have until the Thursday, June 5 to do so, to qualify.
Nominations and Acceptances for this competition will close on the June 5.
