The pair raised more than $15,600, contributing to a total of $272,000 for the charity. Pierre said it was a great rally, despite not being able to visit a number of towns due to flooding.
“We almost made it to Charleville in Queensland but it was flooded from the rain. We got to go through a heap of little towns like Albert, NSW.”
Pierre said thankfully the car made it through the rally and back again.
“The air conditioning went the first day, I was following 30 cars so it was very dusty,” Pierre said.
The couple would like to thank all of their sponsors.
