Boorowa Darts for season 2018 is in danger for being cancelled following last Monday’s meeting and the lack of interest in filling Office Bearers positions.
Numbers in attendance were very low and there was no real interest in filling the vacant club President’s role.
Every organisation needs an operations committee to function properly and the Darts club is no different.
An extraordinary meeting will be held this coming Monday, February 12 at the Ex-Services Club commencing at 7pm to elect a committee and get the season up and running.
Should no committee be formed on this night, the season is in serious jeopardy.
All teams are urged to send at least one delegate to this meeting.
The more people in committee roles, the less work for all involved. If you love your darts, please be in attendance. It would be a Boorowa sporting tragedy if this popular sport was lost in town.
