The evening began with a special Farewell Mass at St. Patrick’s Church, celebrated by Fr. Pale. During the Mass the Year 6 students handed on the Light of Leadership in a Candle Ceremony to the current Year 5 class.
After the Mass the Year 6 students and their parents enjoyed a wonderful meal, hosted by the Year 5 parents and students, and enjoyed watching presentations of each student’s journey at St Joseph’s in powerpoints created by their Year 5 peers.
Lily and Fergus shared a wonderful speech covering their years at school, then the students received their Graduation Certificates. The night finished with the traditional cutting of the cake.
Congratulations to Rory Mcgrath, Grace Whittaker, Anika Li, Fergus Munns, Lachlan Wythes, Harry Gorman-Mcknight, Lily Cassells and Fergus Mullen on graduating from St. Joseph’s Primary school.
We wish you all the best for your new adventures into high School.
