Only the unbeaten Bungendore have beaten Boomanulla this year.
The Roverettes had the worst possible start when Boomanulla scored in the first minute of play for a 4-0 lead.
Boorowa steadied and for the next ten minutes matched the Raiderettes with some good defence.
However eventually Boomanulla found a hole in the defence to cross for a 10-0 lead after fourteen minutes.
Boorowa suffered a blow when fullback Amanda Noakes limped from the field with an injury.
To her credit she did return in the second half which is indicative of all the girls determination.
Boomanulla ran in two more quick tries to lead 22-0 at the break.
Boorowa showed plenty of grit and determination in the second half keeping Boomanulla scoreless for most of the half.
Boomanulla did cross with ten minutes left for a 28-0 lead before Boorowa continued to launch another attacking raid that saw Danielle James go within a whisker of scoring a try.
If only they hadn't mowed the grass.
Boomanulla crossed again in the final minutes to make it 34-0 before Mikaela Pye crossed late for the locals to score a well deserved team try and make the final score 34-4.
For the locals, all the girls tried hard with Katie Merriman being impressive along with Rachel Corkery whilst Danielle James toiled hard all day and was very unlucky not to score.
Payten Power put some nice kicks in whilst Molly Stephens and Meg Galvin made some nice plays in defence.
In other games on the weekend North Canberra trounced ADFA 40-0 whilst Bungendore showed little mercy on Binalong 78-0.
This week Boorowa, who are running fifth play Gunning who are their nearest rival in sixth spot.
A win would see Boorowa well and truly entrenched in the top five.
