Boorowa Balladeers will again be performing on Australia Day, with a tribute to long standing and popular contributor Ray Bush. Ray will be sadly missed, as he took part in the programme for many years and delighted audiences with his home-spun bush yarns.

Many of the usual performers will again appear this year, with some new talent.
Anyone interested in making a contribution will be most welcome and can contact Derrick Mason (Ph. 63853213, mobile 0427 853213).
The programme consists of poems and yarns, many of them original compositions, and the Balladeers represent an occasion when anyone, amateur or professional, can get a hearing.
The afternoon is usually spiced with plenty of humour, and attracts a large contingent of loyal followers, who have been attending for many years.
The Balladeers programme for Australia Day begins at 4pm in the Recreation Club and admission is by gold coin donation.
