The Hospital Auxiliary would like to acknowledge and thank the Bendigo Bank for their amazingly generous donation of $15,000 towards this X Ray machine and for their ongoing support of the Boorowa Community in general.
This equipment is able to take patient X Rays and transfer them digitally to radiologists and a report will be sent back within 24 hours.
This purchase now brings Boorowa up to date with the latest X Ray technology.
Another exciting development at the hospital is the appointment of a new Activity Officer.
Andrea Forkin will commence in this position on October 24 and there will be many new programmes and innovations in store for the residents.
The Hospital Auxiliary also invites everyone to attend the Melbourne Cup Luncheon at the Ex Services Club on Tuesday, November 1 at 12 for 12.30.
A delicious meal will be served for $25 a head and sweeps, lucky door prizes, raffle, guest speaker and of course the hat prizes are all happening.
Bookings for seats or tables must be made at Carmody’s Newsagency by Friday, October 28.
