The Boorowa RSL sub-Branch hosted the RSL South West District Council Bi-Annual meeting in Boorowa last Sunday.

Delegates attended from the following RSL sub-Branches: Cootamundra, Cowra, Grenfell, Koorawatha and Temora. Alan Hutchings, a State Councillor, attended on behalf of RSL NSW Branch.
Morning tea and refreshments were served at the Ex-Services and Citizens’ Club.
This was followed by a brief service and wreath laying at the Boorowa War Memorial.
Two special guests, the Member for Goulburn, the Honourable Pru Goward and Hilltops Administrator Wendy Tuckerman laid wreaths.
Later during the actual meeting Wendy Tuckerman officially welcomed all delegates to Boorowa and Pru Goward spoke very well and officially opened proceedings.
Another guest was Judy Anne Emberson an Occupational Therapist who spoke about mobility aids for the elderly and infirm.
An excellent lunch was served by chef Richard Banks of Richy Didge Catering.
