This young person completed Year 12 at Boorowa Central School.
His major construction work was ranked in the top 10% of the State by HSC markers.
He has completed a four year apprenticeship with Master Builders Association in the ACT, during which time he has received the Overall Apprentice of the Year in the Construction Industry in the ACT and has also won the Carpenter Apprentice of the Year in the Master Builders Association Construction Industry.
Murray's attention to detail and his attitude to his fellow students are two of the qualities mentioned by his TAFE teachers and peers.
He received top marks and his encouragement and help to his fellow carpenters, even to the extent he would stay back to help others was noted by the Master Builders Association.
He has received his building ticket for NSW and ACT.
A high work ethic, he knows from growing up on the farm, hard work and long days, has always done his best and now has his own business which has made him work even harder to earn his place among the established builders in Boorowa and surrounding area.
Murray gives back to the community through his business, sporting teams and community service.
This young Gentleman is a very worthy winner of the Rotary Young Achiever of the Year.
