With the darts season heading towards the pointy end, it's clearly evident that the teams have picked up the pace with some high scoring darts being thrown in recent games.

This was evident when Josh Carmody threw the second 180 of the season whilst last Thursday also saw a few 140's thrown and some high peg outs jagged.
The match of the round in A-Grade was an absolute cracker between the Rec Wizards and the Top Pub Greenies.
Both these teams are in contention for the major title and this match went right to the wire in the team's event.
The match was level at 1-1 after the doubles before the Wizards skipped away to a 3-1 lead with wins to Tim Good and Dennis Watson.
The Top responded through victories by Richard Hall and Craig Ceeley locking it all up at 3-3.
The sides went point for point in the teams event before Richard hall calmly pegged out on 48 for the Top Pub to score the narrowest of wins.
It was the match of the season and both sides played the game in great spirit.
The other A-Grade fixture saw the Rec Gold convincing winners over the Courthouse by 6-1 with Phil Johnston in good form with five tons.
In the match up of the bye teams, the Wiz bangs were too strong for the Allsorts with a 6-1 win highlighted by Josh 's 180.
In the B-Grade the Ex-Services and the Top Pub All-stars also played a thriller with the club scaping home by 4-3 after winning the team's event.
Kim Blomfield had a blinder for the Ex-Services club with a high of 153.
In the other match it was the Top Pub Leprechauns 5 were too good for the Mad Rams 2.
James Green starred for the Leppers with a 140 whilst David Apps hit a 140 for the Ram.
Tonight sees another critical round of matches in both grades.
In A-Grade the Top Pub Greenies are at home to the Ram Wiz bangs whilst the Rec Gold and the Rec Wizards clash at the top end of town.
In B-Grade, The Ex-Services will host the All Sorts whilst the other match will see The Mad Rams stoke the fire at the Ram to welcome the All Stars.
The Courthouse and the Leprechauns will practice their skills in their match up of the bye teams at the Courthouse.
There's still room in teams for any late comers looking for a game. Games commence at 7.30pm on Thursday nights so check your local venue for more information.
Players should also note the massive long weekend darts tournament to be held in Young at the Mill Court Tavern.
