Roads and Maritime Services will carry out a $1.1 million project to rebuild and resurface a 1.2 kilometre section of road, about 39 kilometres north of Boorowa.
Work will be carried out to improve sections of the road surface, improve drainage and widen road shoulders to improve motorist safety. Work will be carried out on weekdays between 7am and 5pm and on Saturdays between 7am and 1pm.
Motorists should plan their trip, allow extra travel time and follow the direction of traffic controllers, portable traffic lights, reduced speed limits of 40 km/h and 60 km/h and all signs.
Roads and Maritime thanks the community for their patience during this important road improvement work expected to be completed at the end of May, weather permitting.
