Henwood House provided the perfect backdrop for a small but significant fundraiser recently with a group of Boorowa ladies hosting a morning tea for the Torie Finnane Foundation for Women and Babies (TFF).
The morning tea featured plenty of sweet treats and was organised by Lo Corcoran of Lo's Kitchen, who hopes to make the fundraiser a bigger, annual event in the years to come.

The TFF aims to improve maternity services in regional NSW through the provision of professional development opportunities and by assisting with the purchase of much needed equipment.
TTF also endeavours to provide opportunities in training and development for regionally-based midwives, nurses and special care nursery staff and reduce the instances of mothers or newborns being transferred to larger hospitals for high-risk births or complications post-delivery.
The foundation was established in honour of Torie Finnane, a much-loved midwife who tragically passed away in December 2020, three days after giving birth to her third child in Orange.
