Our fundraising activities have been very successful over this period. We started in September with catering at three local Ram Sales raising the amount of $1480.

In October we held our charity Golf, Bowls and Card Day at the Boorowa Recreation Club raising $876.
In March our members were very busy at the Boorowa Show, where we held a canteen as well as catering for the President's Tent luncheon, we raised $1435.
Later in March we collected for Red Cross Calling, where, instead of door knocking, we collected donations outside Boorowa IGA.
The generous people of Boorowa helped us raise $800.
In May we held our annual Card Day at the Boorowa Recreation Club providing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea, we raised $353.
The money we raise from these activities goes to the Australian Red Cross Organisation to support their many projects, both in Australia as well as overseas causes.
At this year's Annual General Meeting the executive was elected as follows: President - Barb Kessler, Vice President - Lorraine Veness, Secretary and Publicity Officer - Rosemary Miller, Treasurer and Merchandise Officer - Sylvia Pearsall, Catering Officer - Robyn Shean.
We welcomed Maureen Beere as a new member.
Red Cross Zone 19 Representative, Noeline Hazell presented her Annual Report on the Australian Red Cross’ new and on going projects and thanked the local branch for their contribution.
For outstanding service to Red Cross, members Sylvia Pearsall and Lorraine Veness were awarded their 40 year service medals.
Noeline Hazell presented Sylvia with her medal but unfortunately Lorraine was not able to be present so her medal will be presented at a later date.
Barb Kessler was also presented with her 10 years of service medal.
