Member for Goulburn, Pru Goward, visited the Centre on Monday to check out the facilities.
BEE Centre Director Sheree Shoring said the money would go towards further progress on the Centre’s outdoor play area, with a focus on more natural elements.
“The money was from the Quality Learning Environments grant and the idea is we are trying to add a few extras elements into the yard to promote physical lifestyles and physical development,” she said.
“Some equipment in particular, but lots of climbing things and natural elements to compliment what we have already got.
“It is very much an ongoing project and we will get the children to have a little bit of buy in and have a look at some of the possibilities but we have a lot of climbers.”
The BEE Centre would like to thank the NSW Government for the grant.
