The applause was heard in Pudman street!
He shared the honour with Neil Turner on a very creditable 25 points. They were very closely followed by Greg Thurtell on 24 and Gary Dwyer on 23.
The pennant trial game over 21 ends on Sunday ended in a very close win to the number four team.
The trial showed that most of the players need to spend more time on the green over the next two weeks before competition commences on March 4.
Social three bowl triples on again Thursday at 1pm.
