Last Sunday the Harden Junior Red Devils kicked off its 2025 season with some fantastic results.
Our littlest devils had great fun with our under 5s doing skills with the development officers.
While under 7s got to play a game of touch and had a great time playing and learning the game.
The under 8s with only five players took on Leeton and this fresh bunch of rugby players played very well!
The next game seen them adding a new player to their squad and played with six against Griffith.

Harden showing some great promise for their first two games.
In the competitive age groups Harden’s under 10s have kicked off the season with two big wins defeating Leeton 30-10 and Griffith 20-15.
This little team of defenders added some forwards and backs this year and yet again winning on back of their defence.
This mighty team will be a force this year with two of our most experienced coaches at the steering wheel!
Harden Under 12s took an under strength team to Griffith against Griffith and had a cracking first game coming up short 26-10.
Learning a lot from the first game the team had more luck in the second game with a match winning run down the sideline by the U12s fullback to snatch the win 17-10 from Leeton.
Our under 14s boys had their first full team run Friday night and their first game had Leeton - the reigning premieres down by three tries.
Leeton played some great rugby coming back to win 34-19 but our boys showed what they have what it takes to hang with the big rugby towns.
The second game saw us taking on cross town rivals Yabbies!
Young got out to a handy lead but a absolute gutsy effort saw our boys putting on a great comeback and coming up short 26-17.
Unfortunately our two Tri-Tag teams decided that this year they will be a training only squad in the U10s and U14s and will continue to build this new non-contact game of rugby for next year! (More information to follow).
