Local vets get real world training in Kenya

The NSW Government has continued its approach to preparedness for potential future foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) outbreaks by investing in skilled, real-world training for frontline staff.

Two Local Land Services District Veterinarians recently took part in an intensive four-day course run by the European Commission for the Control of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (EuFMD) held in Kenya, Africa.
