The Boorowa Rovers kept their finals hopes alive with a powerful second-half performance, defeating the Binalong Brahmans 28-14 in wet and windy conditions.
“A dominant second half by the Boorowa Rovers put the Binalong Brahmans to the sword this afternoon,” the club reported.
The Rovers trailed 8-6 at halftime after an error-heavy opening stanza but turned the tide with five tries in the second half, playing what was described as “great wet weather footy.”
“The oranges did the trick at the break as Boorowa clicked into gear,” the club said.
The result all but secures a semi-final berth and keeps Boorowa in contention for a top-three finish.
