Emma, formerly from Hampshire in the UK, has had wide experience in church activities in the Canberra and Goulburn Diocese and has made good use of her skills as a certified practising accountant and human resources practitioner, along with her priestly duties.
One of her favourite roles has been as a prison chaplain at the Alexander Maconochie Centre in Canberra.
Emma also served with the NSW Disaster Recovery Chaplaincy Network during bushfires which ravaged the state and is currently chaplain to the Australian Defence Force.
She has been involved in parish duties in the ACT, recently at St Paul's, Manuka and St Barnabas', Charnwood.
Emma also finds the time to serve as a trainer at St Mark's National Theological Centre in Canberra.
Married to Shaun, she has four adult children.
Emma has already visited St John's Boorowa, where she celebrated Holy Communion and met members of the local congregation on November 28.
She is returning over the Christmas season, when she will celebrate Holy Communion at Christ Church, Murringo at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve, and again at St John's, Boorowa at 9.30am on Christmas Day.
