
Coming out of COVID-19 lockdown is great news for everyone, especially business.
This recovery process is also presenting new challenges to business owners to keep track of what they are now obliged to manage to comply with COVID-19 requirements.

Hilltops Council and the Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre have joined forces to present a Hilltops Business Forum to support local business on the COVID-19 journey.
The forum will be held on Thursday, November 25 between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

Speakers at the forum will be from SafeWork NSW, the Fair Work Ombudsman and the NSW Police and the forum is an opportunity for business owners to receive advise to assist them to manage COVID-19 compliance.
The speaker's list is impressive and includes:
- Fair Work Ombudsman - Christopher Smith
- Safe Work NSW - Jen Gray
- NSW Police - Inspector Adrian Matthews, Acting Officer in Charge, Young Police Station and
- Business Advisor, Southern Region Business Enterprise Centre (SRBEC), Jacquie Tewes, who will speak on behalf of the services of the SRBEC and provide additional information from Service NSW.
Some of the issues facing business that the Forum hopes to address are:
- rostering people on, keeping a safe workplace
- should you identify who is or isn't vaccinated?
- what are the reasons for knowing?
- how would you do this?
- where would this fit under WHS?
- how to operate post lock-down?
The Forum will be chaired by Elke Cleverdon who is the Chair of the Hilltops Council Regional Economic Development Committee.
