One Boorowa staple which has return with great enthusiasm is the Boorowa Gun Club.
The Club will be holding its first competition since July with COVID-19 forcing the cancellation of that months event and the August event.
The October competition will be consist of three events with those participating required to abide by travel and vaccination mandates.
Stating at 11am on October 23, the first event will be a 50T HC Central Zone Noel Dwight Memorial.
First prize will be $200, second $100 and third $50.
Event 2 will be a NSW State mixed targets, 10DB, 10SB, 10PS and five pair DR.
Event 3 will be a 20 pair double rise.
Mandates include proof of double vaccination to be shown, QR code check in, mandatory wearing of facemasks in the club house and four square metre rule must be adhered to.
A barbeque lunch and afternoon tea will be available on the day. Full nominations are $75, LV $55 and J $45.
The club had already enjoyed some shooters returning to the grounds with practice shoots starting on Tuesday.
Shooters were able to return to the ground from 5pm with COVID conditions applying.
Those attending for practice require proof of double vaccination and check in on entry.
