The boots will be back on and players on the paddock with touch football returning in November.
Juniors will be starting on November 3, with the seniors starting on November 4.
Boorowa Touch Association member, Lucy Woods, said it was shaping up to be a strong competition.
"Numbers are looking higher for junior touch this season compared to last," she said.
"And we have 11 senior touch teams for the season, which is the usual.
"Senior teams this year are required to have two junior players (aged 12-16).
"If there are juniors looking for a team, they can contact us via Facebook and we can put them in a team.
"Parents can register for junior touch by going to https://profile.mysideline.com.au/register/ and searching for 'Boorowa Junior Touch'."
Players can register for senior touch via the same link but searching for their team name.
She said there were COVID requirements for senior players to take the field.
"COVID restrictions for senior players include: they must be double vaccinated, they must social distance and wear a mask when not playing," she said.
"Players 16 years and under do not have to be double vaccinated, but all players and spectators must sign in using the QR codes around the grounds."
This year will also see a premier touch competition played in Young on Thursday nights after the Boorowa games.
The premier competition is free but a few conditions apply for players to participate.
Premier games will be played at 8pm each Thursday in Young.
Players must be registered in a Boorowa team and play in the Boorowa competition each Thursday to participate.
Individuals in a Boorowa team, who want to play in the Young competition, can be placed in a team.
