Virtual to Actual Performance Poetry is series of free, online workshops on creative writing and performance.

It's a great option for young people looking to discover poetry and performance during the September school holidays.

Strong writing is the foundation for exciting performance.

Southern Tablelands Arts invites you to join spoken word artist Robyn Sykes for these practical workshops.

Meet with other like-minded people your age.

Work on your writing and performance techniques.

Develop your writing style, explore poetry.

The exercises and techniques can be applied to both poetry and creative prose.

Robyn is a multi-awarded performer, published poet and dynamic workshop presenter whose wealth of experience lights up a stage.

At festivals, workshops, conferences, community events: you name it, she presents there.

Her workshops include sessions to hone skills in poetry/prose/performance for both adults and children, how cryptic crosswords help your writing, and drama for children.

Original work is Robyn's specialty.

Her poems feature in journals and anthologies nationally, internationally and online.

She is passionate about rural life, nature and strengthening communities.

These Southern Tablelands Arts workshops with Robyn are online via Zoom on Wednesday evenings September 22 and 29.

Come to either or both, it's up to you.

The sessions will run from 6pm to 7pm.

Sessions are open to young people in the Southern Tablelands Arts or Eastern Riverina Region.
