In an announcement last week, Canberra Regional Rugby League (CRRL) said its committee had unanimously decided to award the minor premiership only to all teams that were leading their respective competitions at the time of the shutdown.
It also stated that Club Championships would be awarded on the basis of the points accrued to the date of the competition's shutdown.
As such in the George Tooke Shield competitions, the minor premiership was awarded to the North Canberra Bears and in the League Tag competition, it was awarded to the Harden Hawkettes.
With a points total of 135 over all three grades, the Hawks were duly awarded the Club Championship.
The committee again praised the efforts sides had gone to in getting through the 2021 and 2020 seasons.
"Once again thank you for your outstanding efforts during this extraordinary season," the statement read.
"For your contribution to seeing record participation in the Canberra Region Rugby League.
"A truly remarkable feat considering the hurdles we have all had to face in the last two seasons."
Associated awards will also be presented once the developing situation is clearer.
Ongoing lockdowns in Canberra and regional NSW have also affected the CRRL's plans for Raiders junior representatives in the Harold Matthews, Tarsha Gale and SG Ball Cups.
In another statement last week, Canberra Raiders Pathways officer, Dean Souter, said all trials for those squads had been postponed.
"Due to the latest ACT Government announcement to extend the lockdown until October 15, the Canberra Raiders have postponed all trials for Junior Representative squads," he said.
"We will monitor all Local Government Health advice and continue to observe all COVID-19 related directions.
"Given the duration of the current lockdown and the uncertainty of when sport might resume we have put the trials on hold.
"We will provide updates as restrictions ease."
