Boorowa Rotary Club announced their decision in mid-July, citing the possibility of attracting tourists while regional NSW tackles the spread of COVID-19, as well as inclement weather conditions.
"This takes into account... the current COVID-19 situation in rural/regional NSW and our desire not to become a possible transmission site, given the number of travellers that come through and stop at the Markets," the Boorowa Rotary Club said.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but our wish is to keep you, our community and ourselves safe and healthy through the current situation."
The club has opted to "wait and see" in terms of their September markets.
