Canberra-based horse Opera Tickets has converted recent form into silverware taking out the 2021 edition of the Boorowa Picnic Cup on Saturday.

The seven-year-old gelding, trained by Darryl Rolfe, was coming off two recent minor placings in the Tullibigeal and Cootamundra picnic cups and a fourth at Tomingley.
Opera Tickets ($6) made most of his form on Saturday, edging out Deterge ($5) by the narrowest of margins in the 1700m race worth $5440-to-the-winner.
Race favourite Cryfowl ($3.40) filled the minor placings.
It was a day to remember for jockey Rickey Blewitt who raced home the winners of the opening four events, combining with Corowa trainer Rick Freyer in three of those.
Brother Fox won the maiden, Riverina Boy took out the Class 2 Handicap and Sun Master won the Class B Handicap.
