Team nominations have been steadily coming in and early indications are that all the local watering holes will field at least one team.
The format is pretty much the same as previous competitions, with one full round to be played before the teams are split into A, B and C Grades.
Play will be on Thursday nights usually commencing no later than 7.30pm.
A meeting will be held next Monday, April 12, at the the Top Pub to finalise the details of this season's competition and whilst anyone is able to attend this meeting, at least the team captain or a team delegate should attend to pick up a draw, scoresheets and be aware of any other information.
New players are most welcome and if you are not sure how to get involved, just contact one of the pubs or clubs in town and they will put you in touch with a darts representative.
Players of all standards are welcome and we will find you a team.
This is a social darts competition and fun is the name of the game.
It is a great way to spend an entertaining Thursday evening and play is usually finished by 10pm if not earlier.
Stay tuned for more details and don't forget next Monday is the pre-season meeting and Thursday, April 15, is go time.
See you at the boards.
