In superb conditions at the faultless Parkes Harness Racing Club track four-year-old horse Bruhaha ($3.60) lit up the track with a sizzling 1:59.3, 12.6 metre victory in the Telescope Tyres Heat on Sunday evening.

Trained in Bathurst by Nathan Turnbull, who was also in the gig for the race, Bruhaha sat at the tail of the field before pushing up from three wide to take the lead after one lap.
Turnbull, clad in Bruhaha's fluro yellow colours, pressed go on the back straight and streaked away from the rest of the field, in a mightily impressive win thanks to a masterclass on driving from Turnbull.
After three second placings in a row, it was Bruhaha's first win since November 15 in the Kriden Marshall Consolation in Blayney - and the victory is just rewards for a clearly talented horse.
Be Good Benny ($2.70 fixed place) was game in second for Alectown's Stan Townsend, but no match for the victor, while Mister Mysterious ($1.65 fixed place) held on by a head for third.
The race was one of three heats on the night ahead of a $8000 final this coming Sunday, and you'd have to say based on this run Bruhaha will certainly be giving the final a big shake.
The second heat, the Quick Shine Car Wash Heat, saw another comfortable victory, with Shes The Other One ($4.60) holding off the heavily supported Royal Feeling ($2.50 fixed place) - who opened at $36 but was crunched into $13.
Each way punters of Royal Feeling, trained in Forbes by Gary Eyre, will be stoked with the drive of Parkes' Andrew Cassell, who poked his nose in front of Themidnightrambler ($1.95 fixed place) in the nick of time.
The last of the feature heats, the Clarinda Park IT Pace, saw the locally trained Cuzin Pat ($23) win in a huge boilover, securing back-to-back wins after winning as a big outsider in Bathurst on February 7.
Sitting one out, one back, the gelding, trained by James Clyburn, peeled out and made his way to the outside at the top of the straight - eventually winning by 4.90 metres over Courage Lips ($1.45 fixed place) and Four For The Road ($1.75 fixed place) in 2:00.2.
It certainly got race caller Michael Dumesny out of his seat, with Dumesny also in the hot seat when the gelding won in Bathurst - and his glee at the upset, and local, result was there for all to hear.
If you had $20 on each of Cuzin Pat's upset wins, you'd be $1140 richer by now!
Seven races, including the $8000 final, are scheduled for this coming Sunday's night meeting at the Parkes Harness Racing Club.
A preview of the evening and fields will be available in this Friday's edition of the Parkes Champion Post.
