With the sun out, and a gentle breeze flowing across the Rec Oval, the Crocs began the game with ball in hand.
Returning to skipper duties, Josh Carmody placed his faith and the new cherry in the hands of his brother Jacob, tasking him with the removal of the dangerous Gundaroo openers.
With just three deliveries and a perfectly placed fly-slip, the Crocs claimed their first scalp, putting Gundaroo on the back foot on 1/1.
However, Gundaroo then steadied the ship, gradually building a respectable total.
The Gundaroo boys ended up being bowled out for 206, with a notable effort from their skipper who tallied up 78.
The top performers with the ball were the Carmo brothers, with Josh and Jacob taking 4/45 and 2/29 respectively.
Looks like the something in the water out at Phil's Creek.
A total of 206 is typically a respectable total in the competition, however, in a match in which the stars seemed to align, the Boorowa top order made light work of this.
Matthew Canellis and Blake Anderson opened the batting for the Crocs and put together a partnership of 124.
Blake was first to be dismissed by a screamer of a catch that saw him fall only four runs short of what would have been a sensational half century.
With his partner gone, Canellis showed no signs of slowing up, powering through to carry the Crocs over the line, with a mammoth score of 128*.
In a good supporting act, Byron Campbell also put together a classy 21*.
With an innings littered by boundaries, the Crocs were victorious with seven overs to spare.
The Gators hit the road again, facing off against Bookham.
Boorowa elected to field first and bowled a tight opening spell between Tim Gregory and Ben Klose, keeping Bookham to 16, at the expense of two wickets after 10 overs.
Following this, the heads began to roll with Brett Grocott, and Tom Carnell leading the charge, ending up with figures of 4/23 and 2/27 a piece.
Bookham ended up on 119, being bowled out by the 33rd over.
The Gators top order proved too good for the Bookham bowlers in a similar fashion to the Crocs.
In the form of his life, Chris McIntosh, yet again had his eye in, knocking up 54* at an alarming rate.
This weekend the Gators also welcomed back Brad Rose who was itching at the feet to get a game of cricket in before the year's end.
Coming in at number four, Brad backed up and put together 26*, whilst Russell George also put in a solid 24, opening with the stick.
The Gators stamped there mark on the competition, completing the run chase in 22 overs.
This completed the competition games for the year, with a break for Christmas.
The Boorowa teams are now in a strong position to bring home the bacon in the new year.
A**clown of the week: Byron Campbell for entering the Rec Oval with a left-handed set of gloves... for the second time this season.
Players' player: Matthew Canellis in a landslide. (Stump Mike welcomes you to the centurion's club)
