This was the second meeting of these two teams this season, the first match being played in Bowning in spitting rain, with the Crocs losing a game that they should have put away before drinks.
Saturday turned out to be a very different affair with the Crocs coming away with a comprehensive victory in conditions hotter than a dodgy vindaloo.
The Crocs fielded first and continued their good form with the ball.
Chris Dwyer and Alex 'Lightning' Blomfield took the new ball and ripped through the top order, in what was a debut new rock experience for Blomfield.
Their middle order put up a good fight until Josh Carmody cleaned up their most dangerous batsman with a pinpoint field placement catch for Matty Ackland in cow corner.
Nick 'couple of spells, please' Dwyer and Jason Stuart cleaned up the tail to leave Bowning out for 140.
One wicket each for Nick and Chris Dwyer, two wickets for Blomfield and Carmody, and three wickets for Stuart, supported by a match winning fielding effort from Mark Poplin and Ackland.
The Crocs wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, with James Green delivering the goods in shiny new gear, hammering 39 off six overs with a pure display of ball striking.
A composed knock of 40 from the skipper Carmody, a pure opener's innings from Noisy Anderson, a solid effort from Byron 'two left hands' Campbell and a quickfire 25 from Chris Dwyer saw the target reached only four wickets down in the 26th over.
Players' Player: Josh Carmody with 2/26 off 8 and 40 with the bat, just edging out Greeny in the votes.
Champagne Moment: James Green's hat-trick of boundaries in the 5th over.
A**clown of the Week: Vinny Ryan for jumping out of the way of a catch at square leg due to 'self-preservation reasons'.
Next up is Yass on the turf in Yass on Saturday, November 28.
