Last Friday would have marked the Boorowa Touch/Netball Carnival, the town's biggest sporting event, run by St Joseph's and Boorowa Central School.
The event was cancelled this year due to concerns around COVID-19 rates and restrictions.
Instead, to mark the occasion, St Joseph's held a mini carnival on their Top Oval, with all children from Year 2 to Year 6 participating in both netball and touch football.
"It was wonderful to see the improvement, encouragement and support from all the students," the school said.
Students in Kindergarten and Year 1 went were the spectators and provided lots of encouragement to the participants.
