President Darrell Armour in his report emphasised the very impressive trading position of the club, recording a trading profit of $45,869.
Almost an unbelievable position considering the pressures facing the club.
Darrell emphasised the effort manager Garrett and the staff had put in to achieve this remarkable result. He added how valuable the support of the board had been to keep the club moving forward.
Thanked also was the support of the members, who appreciate the efforts made and improvements gained.
Darrell Armour was returned as President leading a very strong committee. Now it's on and upwards for the club building on the success of the last twelve months.

We are experiencing one of the best seasons on record with TV presentations often bringing the viewers images of the impressive canola crops on view throughout our region.
Boorowa was not overlooked with Tom Corkhill seen on the 9 News last week standing in his magnificent wheat crop and telling the world how good the season looked. It's nice to know the world gets a glimpse of how wonderful Boorowa and district is.

Another in the series of 'The way we were - how we were brought up'. Today's generation, if faced with the way we were brought up would probably revolt in horror.
Remember, take away food was fish and chips, no pizza shops, McDonalds or Subway. Shops closed at 5pm, didn't open Sunday, but we didn't starve to death.
We shared soft drink with our friends from one bottle, killing no-one.
We could collect old drink bottles and cash them in at the corner store and buy toffees, gobstoppers and bubble gum.
We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter, drank fresh cow's milk and drank soft drinks with sugar in it.
We weren't overweight because we were always outside playing.
We would spend hours building our billycarts out of old prams then ride them down the hill only to find out we forgot the brakes.
We built tree houses and dens and played with matchbox cars.
We did not have Playstations, Nintendo, Wii and Xboxs, no video games at all, no movie channels, no video or DVD films or colour TV.
We had no mobile phones, no personal computers, no internet or internet chat rooms, but we had friends and went outside and found them.
What 'horrors' will we reveal to our youngsters next week?

Last week's "Through the Streets of Boorowa' segment on 2LF only included things that were on or close - no padding. Things are starting to swing back towards normal.
Celebrate this swing by, say, visiting the beautiful garden at Old Graham Saturday and Sunday this week or get along to the Hospital Auxiiary Melbourne Cup Day at the Ex-Services Club.
Meetings are starting to be scheduled again and the Boorowa Business Chamber is holding a general meeting open to all - business owners, residents alike.
Meeting is Monday, October 26, 7pm at the Ex-Services Club with CSIRO's Stuart Brown as guest speaker. Support your town.
