On Friday, July 24 about 6pm, a 50-year-old man from Mawson, ACT was driving west on Murringo Road about 10km west of Boorowa when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.

Emergency services were contacted and attended. The man was taken to Young Hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
Witnesses have been spoken to and police are investigating the circumstances of the crash, including whether alcohol was involved.
Driver collides with ponies
Two ponies were involved in a crash on Murringo Road during the early hours of Monday morning, July 27.
About 4.10am, police were called to the scene of an incident on Murringo Road about one kilometre west of Wambanumba Drive where two ponies had been hit by a vehicle.
Police say a pair of ponies were running along the road while the driver of the vehicle was travelling east and couldn't stop in time to avoid colliding with both ponies.
